"Deeper Than The Sea"

Deep and blue, her eyes stare out- under and over the endless sea
Below it's surface are mystical things, unknown, un-adventured and free

Long brown hair with sun kissed streaks flows down her back
Her long eyelashes and perfect form, is there anythings she lacks?

Though any who might see her would be enchanted by her beauty
She does not feel equivalent to the other gorgeous many

Never do her emotions show, for she does not even show her face
She hides it under the rough blue surface of her secret place

She observes the people on the shore from rocks way out of sight
Water droplets sticking to her skin gleam as they reflect the light

Her heart cries.. She longs to be like them, to walk around with legs and feet
But she is restricted to the icy water, land is something her tail will never meet

Though she may be different, her sweet heart would make others melt
Her beauty is both inside and out, if only she'd believe in herself
